The Spring Fiesta Parade

The New Orleans Spring Fiesta Association's annual Spring Fiesta Parade rolls through the Vieux Carré in lovely horse-drawn carriages. The Parade begins at the New Orleans Spring Fiesta Association's historic townhouse at 826 Saint Ann Street. NOSFA's Cotillon Court, in resplendent dress, along with its members and friends in their spring finery, offer flowers to parade goers along the way.  During a pause in the route, the riding party disembarks to perform the Cotillion Court's Grande Pramanade in Jackson Square. The Spring Fiesta Parade then continues on, winding its way through the French Quarter, to the Cotillion Gala, for "A Night in Old New Orleans" at the Royal Orleans Hotel.  Les Beaux Chapeaux, NOSFA's new walking troup, antique cars and a New Orleans jazz band complete the elegant spectacle.
